From queer line dancing to a stylish get-together inside a Miu Miu shop, the week was full of people gathering to squeeze in as much partying as they can ahead of the holidays. And even if it’s cold outside, you’d never be able to tell by the warm glow on their faces and, crucially, the absence of coats (except for those who spent their week in Aspen, rightfully so). Rihanna, Paloma Elsesser, Natasha Lyonne, Bradley Cooper, and more of the best party pics this week.
Coolest Duo: Paloma Elsesser and Emily Ratajkowski
Miu Miu threw the hottest party of the week at its Upper East Side store with a selection of products picked by model Emily Ratajkowski. She wore some of her favorites at the event (including some micro shorts), alongside so many stylish guests, like Model of the Year Paloma Elsesser, in an equally cool ’fit.
Best Purple: Rihanna
No matter where Rihanna goes, she always looks the part. To celebrate the return of the Fenty x Puma Creeper sneaker, Rihanna threw a launch party in L.A. where purple was the unofficial color of choice, as seen on her sneakers and fabulously furry coat.
Best Bobs: Carey Mulligan, Bradley Cooper, and Lady Gaga
When Bradley Cooper isn’t making sandwiches for Gigi Hadid and all the other women in his life, he’s taking them to his latest movie premiere. At the Los Angeles screening of Maestro, both Mulligan and Gaga showed off their platinum bobs, with Mulligan opting for a sequined navy off-the-shoulder gown and Gaga wearing an Alexander McQueen blazer and pants.
Most Sparkly: Sydney Sweeney
Sydney Sweeney shined at the New York premiere of Anyone But You in this silver mesh dress adorned with crystals.
Best Orange: Natasha Lyonne and Patricia Arquette
Orange was everywhere at the Patrón el Cielo holiday dinner. Festive!
Best Neutrals: Penélope Cruz and Salma Hayek
Whoever said neutrals were boring never saw Penélope Cruz and Salma Hayek wearing them. The two showed off their classic styles at the luncheon at the Mandarin Oriental Residences, Beverly Hills, to honor Cruz’s role in Michael Mann’s Ferrari.
Best Pose: Coco Rocha
Coco Rocha can always be counted on to show up in an amazing outfit — this time a deep-blue velvet gown — and to strike a pose, which she did at the opening of the Macallan Harmony Hideaway in New York City.
Best Monochrome: Brianna Lance
Artist Brianna Lance showcased her eye for design with her light-yellow monochrome outfit, all the way down to her suede kitten heels, to celebrate Visionary Project’s newest exhibition opening, titled “The Collective.”
Best Group: Stud Country
In Los Angeles, Nike Women hosted an intimate dance class with Stud Country at the Paramour Estate, where guests were encouraged to whip out their cowboy boots and join the group on the dance floor.
Best Skirt: Gwyneth Paltrow
Quiet-luxury queen Gwyneth Paltrow wore a Lafayette 148 New York leather skirt by at the In Goop Health Summit in Los Angeles.
Best Boots: Maria Sivakova
Of course, the shoes at the Katy Perry Collections’ holiday event were too good to be true, including these black boots sported by Maria Sivakova.
Best Camo: Matthew Henson
Stylist Matthew Henson looked very cool in some distressed camo at the opening of Luna Luna: Forgotten Fantasy in L.A., a revival of the world’s first art amusement park.
Best Trio: Pom Klementieff, Shaun White, and Nina Dobrev
The stars were out to watch some polo at Aspen’s annual St. Regis World Snow Polo Championship, including Pom Klementieff, Shaun White, and Nina Dobrev, all adorned in shades of brown and fur.
Best Jewelry: Coco Qvortrup
When the dress code mentions cabaret, people are sure to show up in their best, including Coco Qvortrup, who displayed some gorgeous rings at the Prounis’ Night at the Versailles holiday-season celebration at Orsay.
